Terms of Service

By accessing and using Noah's Accounting ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Noah's Accounting provides AI-powered receipt parsing, journal entry automation, QuickBooks Online integration, and financial reporting tools for bookkeepers and their clients.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Bookkeepers are responsible for all activity under their firm account, including client actions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) upload fraudulent or misleading receipts, (b) attempt to access another user's data without authorization, (c) use the Service for any illegal purpose, (d) reverse engineer or disrupt the Service.

5. AI Processing & Data Handling

Receipts and financial documents are processed using Google Vertex AI. No customer data is used to train AI models. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

6. Billing & Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed monthly via PayPal. The Free Trial plan includes 25 lifetime journal entries. The Base plan ($79/month) includes 3 client slots and unlimited journal entries. Additional client slots are $15/month each. Referral bonuses grant additional slots to both referrer and referee. If either party cancels, a 7-day grace period applies before the bonus slot is revoked.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Noah's Accounting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Noah's Accounting collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information (name, email), financial documents (receipts, invoices), and usage data. Bookkeepers' client information is collected when clients are invited to the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Service, process receipts via AI, sync with QuickBooks Online, send notifications about journal entries, and communicate important account updates.

3. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. AI processing is done via Google Vertex AI, which does not use customer data for model training. Authentication tokens are stored securely and never exposed to third parties.

4. QuickBooks Online Integration

When you connect QuickBooks Online, we access your QBO company data (chart of accounts, vendor lists) solely for journal entry posting. This access is governed by Intuit's OAuth 2.0 terms and can be revoked at any time.

5. Email Notifications

We send transactional emails: receipt upload confirmations, journal entry approval notifications, and referral program updates. Bookkeepers receive notifications when clients upload receipts.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for the duration of your account. After account termination, data is deleted within 30 days. Journal entries posted to QuickBooks Online remain in your QBO account.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Bookkeepers may manage their clients' data access through the dashboard.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
